Baseball Recap: Northeastern Beats Spring Grove for Their Fourth Straight Victory

While Northeastern's win against Spring Grove wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bobcats narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Rockets 2-1. The win was nothing new for the Bobcats as they're now sitting on four straight.

Drew Barshinger spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on five hits and racked up six Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Northeastern saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryson Neri, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Northeastern's record now sits at 9-6. As for Spring Grove, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-9-1.
