Volleyball Recap: Montville Wolves vs. Wheeler Lions
Wheeler typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Montville proved too difficult a challenge. They had just enough and edged the Wheeler Lions out 3-2. The win was familiar territory for the Wolves who have now won three games in a row.
Montville had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 19-25, 25-20, 25-20, 17-15.
Alyna Ovalles was a one-man wrecking crew for Montville as she had 25 digs and two aces. Ovalles is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in the last six games she's played.
