Baseball Recap: Rock Hill Takes a Loss

Rock Hill came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Fairland Dragons, falling 11-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Redmen in their meetings with the Dragons: they've now lost eight in a row.

Rock Hill's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-4. As for Fairland, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Rock Hill will take on rival Portsmouth at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Fairland is set to face off against their familiar foe South Point at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
