Basketball Recap: East Coweta Has No Trouble Against Fayette County

East Coweta won the last time they faced Fayette County and things went their way on Thursday too. The Indians enjoyed a cozy 68-54 win over the Tigers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

Harper Rife had an outrageously good game as he went 8-for-13 to rack up 25 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaydon Johnson, who scored 13 points.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aiden Rivers, who earned nine points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Elijah Barksdale was another key player, putting up 13 points.

East Coweta's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Fayette County, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

East Coweta has already played their next matchup, a 79-55 defeat against Coral Glades on the 22nd. As for Fayette County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 76-57 loss against Chapel Hill on the 21st.
