Gulf Breeze had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Booker T. Washington Wildcats. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Dolphins also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-13, 25-18.

Emma Ward and Addi Rosendale certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Ward had 20 assists and four digs, while Rosendale had nine digs. Ward has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more assists the last three times she's played.

Gulf Breeze has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Navarre on the 20th. As for Booker T. Washington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Pace on the 21st.
