Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Jailene Roman stepped things up a notch to give Bell Gardens the 'W'. Roman scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances, which was good enough to set a new career-high in stolen bases.

Looking ahead, Roman and Bell Gardens are taking a road trip to challenge Mark Keppel at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Roman had to take a defeat the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their matchup on April 8th 9-2. If she drops another game like that, the outcome could be different this time around.
