Basketball Recap: Newman AA Comes Up Short

Newman AA suffered their biggest loss since February 2nd on Wednesday. They were beaten by Non Varsity Opponent 90-59. The Cardinals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Non Varsity Opponent earlier this season, when they won 87-74.

When it comes to explaining why Newman AA lost, don't look at Donovan Lee. Despite the final result, he posted 18 points. The dominant performance gave Lee a new career-high in points. Aiden Losiewicz was another key player, dropping a double-double with 13 points and 12 boards.

Newman AA's defeat dropped their record down to 18-9.
