Volleyball Recap: Franklin Christian Academy Gets the Win

Franklin Christian Academy's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over The Master's Academy Eagles.

Franklin Christian Academy was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 23-25, 25-13, 25-17.

Tatum Beathard was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 15 digs and two aces. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (four).

Beathard wasn't the only good server: Franklin Christian Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in three consecutive games.

The victory got Franklin Christian Academy back to even at 3-3. As for The Master's Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Franklin Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Christ Presbyterian Academy on the 2nd. As for The Master's Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Trinity Prep on the 2nd.
