Soccer Recap: Geneva Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Geneva was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They fell just short of the Wheaton North Falcons by a score of 2-1. Geneva were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Wheaton North apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Geneva's goal came courtesy of Ben Murphy, who's now up to two this season.

Geneva's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Wheaton North, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Geneva will square off against Oak Park-River Forest at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Wheaton North, they will challenge Hoffman Estates at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
