Our Lady Academy had already won nine in a row dating back to last season and they went ahead and made it ten on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the New Hope Trojans. That's more bragging rights for the Crescents, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Our Lady Academy easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-17.

Myah Favre paced Our Lady Academy's offense, picking up 17 kills. Favre got some help from Taylor Henley and her 23 assists. Favre was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Our Lady Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Our Lady Academy has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Oak Grove on the 1st. As for New Hope, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Newton County on the 1st.
