Football Game Preview: Battle Ground Tigers vs. Cascade Christian Cougars + How To Watch

The Battle Ground Tigers will welcome the Cascade Christian Cougars at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Battle Ground and Prairie, and Battle Ground kept the tradition alive. The Tigers breezed past the Falcons to the tune of 41-6 on Friday. With the Tigers ahead 31-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Ethan Adams had an outrageously good game as he threw for 117 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 95 yards on only 12 carries. Miles Skov was another key player, rushing for 71 yards and one score on only six carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Battle Ground was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 270 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 229 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Meanwhile, Cascade Christian strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 49-6 win over East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum]. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Cougars' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 56th, while the Rivals are ranked 271st).

Battle Ground's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Cascade Christian, their win bumped their record up to an identical 3-0.
