Basketball Recap: Hickory Grove Christian Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Hickory Grove Christian had won three straight home games and Lauren Feaster did her part to make it four on Tuesday. The Lions breezed past the Gaston Day Spartans to the tune of 49-22 for which the team can thank Feaster, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 14 boards. Hickory Grove Christian is undefeated when Feaster posts 15 or more points, but 2-3 otherwise.

The team also got some help courtesy of Vivienne Greywoode, who posted six points. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 12 games she's played dating back to last season.

Hickory Grove Christian's record is now 6-3. As for Gaston Day, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Hickory Grove Christian will head out to square off against Gaston Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Gaston Day, they will venture away from home to take on Burlington Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
