The Golden Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Granite Bears on Thursday. The Golden Eagles haven't had any issues with the Granite Bears recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Leading Surry Central to victory were Kenzie Hooker and Stella Wall. Hooker had 23 assists and ten digs, while Wall had 18 digs and two aces. Hooker has been hot, having posted 16 or more assists the last eight times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Mallie Southern, who had ten kills.

Surry Central's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Mount Airy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.
