Football Recap: Mountain View Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Workman last Thursday, Mountain View came back down to earth. Mountain View was dealt a 55-8 defeat at the hands of Garey on Friday. Mountain View was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.

Manuel Gonzales threw for 105 yards on seven of 22 attempts. Julian Castro was his top target, picking up 81 receiving yards. On the ground, Omar Nombrano rushed for 66 yards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Mountain View fell to 2-1. As for Garey, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.

Mountain View has already played their next contest (against La Quinta), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Garey, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 35-7 loss against South El Monte on the 11th.
