Emily Ames Game Report: vs Oakridge

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Emily Ames stepped things up a notch to give Whitehall the 'W'. Ames went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI. The performance marked the most hits she has had over her last eight matchups.

Ames' strong effort led Whitehall over Oakridge and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings have some work to do to even out the 1-8 series between these two since April of 2017, but a win here would be a good start.
