Basketball Game Preview: Spanish Fork Dons vs. Bountiful RedHawks

The Spanish Fork Dons will square off against the Bountiful RedHawks at 4:10 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Spanish Fork is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They walked away with a 66-58 win over Clearfield. The Dons didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.

Meanwhile, Bountiful had already won 14 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.5 points) and they went ahead and made it 15 on Thursday. They blew past the Titans 74-25. The RedHawks pushed the score to 57-21 by the end of the third, a deficit the Titans had no chance of recovering from.

Bountiful's win came from a few key players Spanish Fork will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Milika Satuala, who posted 16 points. The game was her third in a row with at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Harvey, who had 19 points.

Bountiful pushed their record up to 21-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.6 points over those games. As for Spanish Fork, their victory bumped their record up to 5-20.

Spanish Fork was taken down by Bountiful 58-26 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Spanish Fork was down 34-11.
