Meanwhile, Greenville beat Malden 7-3 on Saturday. The win was just what Greenville needed coming off of an 11-0 defeat in their prior game.
Doniphan pushed their record up to 8-0 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Greenville, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.
