Baseball Recap: Blue Earth Comes Up Short

Blue Earth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 28th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 18-0 to the Jackson County Central Huskies. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, with their most recent loss being a 22-0 defeat on April 7th.

Blue Earth's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Jackson County Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.

Looking ahead, Blue Earth will be playing in front of their home fans against Pipestone at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Arrows have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.5 runs per game on average), something the Bucs will no doubt try to take advantage of. Jackson County Central has already played their next matchup (against Springfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
