Softball Recap: Grayslake North Knights vs. Grayslake Central Rams
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Prairie Ridge, Grayslake North was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 9-6 win over the Grayslake Central Rams. This was payback for the Knights, who suffered a 10-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Riley O'Brien made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up six earned runs off 14 hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Raygen Moore was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Jane Pritchard was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4.
Grayslake North kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Grayslake North's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Grayslake Central, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
