Football Game Preview: Rocky Mountain Lobos vs. Fort Collins Lambkins + How To Watch

The Rocky Mountain Lobos will face off against the Fort Collins Lambkins at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Rocky Mountain will be strutting in after a win while Fort Collins will be coming in after a defeat.

If Rocky Mountain beats Fort Collins with 28 points on Friday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Lobos strolled past Fossil Ridge with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 28-14. The victory was nothing new for the Lobos as they're now sitting on three straight.

Bode Nesbitt went supernova, picking up 118 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Fort Collins played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Fairview, falling 60-29. The Lambkins haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Rocky Mountain will have to contain Jack McKeon as he made an impact in Fort Collins' last game. He rushed for 273 yards and three TDs while picking up 7.8 yards per carry, and also picked up 45 receiving yards. McKeon's longest rush was for an incredible 79 yards.

Rocky Mountain now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Fort Collins, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.

Rocky Mountain couldn't quite get it done against Fort Collins when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 28-20. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of McKeon, who rushed for 152 yards and a pair of scores. Now that the Lobos know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
