Volleyball Recap: Dallin Hurd and Seth Cook Secure Win for Weber

Weber's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the Fremont Silverwolves 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in April.

Weber walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-14, 25-23, 25-23.

Leading Weber to victory were Seth Cook and Dallin Hurd. Cook had 16 assists and six digs, while Hurd had seven digs and one assist. Cook is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 13 or more in each of the last eight games he's played.

Weber couldn't miss and finished the game having scored on 46.9% of their attack attempts. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hitting percentage total in three consecutive matchups.

Weber's record is now 11-12. As for Fremont, they dropped their record down to 9-19 with the loss, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Weber nor the Silverwolves have any future games scheduled.
