Softball Recap: Liberty Bell Comes Up Short

Liberty Bell managed to slip by Brewster the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Mountain Lions came up short against the Bears on Thursday, falling 15-0. The Mountain Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bears earlier this season, when they won 18-17.

This is the second loss in a row for Liberty Bell and nudges their season record down to 6-11. As for Brewster, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Liberty Bell is set to challenge their familiar foe Lake Roosevelt at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Brewster will face off against rival Okanogan at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
