Basketball Recap: North Lamar Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact North Lamar can now relate to. They fell just short of the Godley Wildcats by a score of 37-34 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Panthers have suffered since November 22, 2024.

North Lamar's loss dropped their record down to 25-10. As for Godley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 31-5 record this season.
