Softball Recap: Stillman Valley's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Stillman Valley waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Byron Tigers get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-2 last Thursday.

Stillman Valley's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-8. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Byron, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-14.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Stillman Valley is set to take on their familiar foe Oregon at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Byron will face off against rival North Boone at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
