Corner Canyon's win came from a few key players Copper Hills will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Noah Bendinger, who posted 23 points and six rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Corner Canyon's points. Bryton Valdes was another key player, going 5 of 9 on his way to 14 points and six assists.

Corner Canyon's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.7 points per game. As for Copper Hills, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4.
