Baseball Recap: Coweta Beats Noble for Their Third Straight Victory

Coweta entered their tilt with Noble on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Bears.

Jaxson Robinson tossed a big game, tossing six innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off nine hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Josh McDermott, who scored a run while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Hunter Jones, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI.

Coweta's record now sits at 15-10. As for Noble, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 17-7 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coweta will head out to challenge Bartlesville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Noble, they will face off against Collinsville at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
