Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Van Vleck). They came out on top against the Taft Greyhounds by a score of 59-47 on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Leopards as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Van Vleck's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Taft, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4.

Van Vleck and Calhoun will face off at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Taft, they are taking a road trip to challenge Ingleside at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
