Mt. Pleasant hadn't done well against Carlisle recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Panthers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Wildcats. The win was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won three matches in a row.

Mt. Pleasant's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Carlisle, they dropped their record down to 3-5 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.
