Softball Game Preview: Woodridge Bulldogs vs. Cloverleaf Colts

Woodridge hasn't had much luck against Cloverleaf recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Bulldogs will look to defend their home field against the Colts at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Woodridge is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Thursday. They came up short against Springfield, falling 11-1.

Woodridge saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Julia Elkins, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, Cloverleaf was not able to break out of their rough patch last Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They lost 7-1 to Springfield.

Cloverleaf's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Woodridge, their loss dropped their record down to 4-19.
