Volleyball Recap: Permian Comes Up Short

Permian lost against Midland back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Bulldogs. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

Permian took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-17, 26-24.

Permian's defeat dropped their record down to 15-13. As for Midland, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 18 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Permian will face off against rival San Angelo Central at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Midland is set to challenge their familiar foe Odessa at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
