Baseball Recap: Lancaster Gets the Win

After losing to Lewisville the last time they met, Lancaster decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bruins came out on top against the Lions by a score of 8-4 on Friday.

Lancaster's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Lewisville, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-5.

As for Lewisville, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Midlands STEM Charter at 6:00 p.m. The Mavericks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17 runs per game on average), something the Lions will no doubt try to take advantage of.
