Great Plains Lutheran was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from seventh to fifth in Eastern Coteau (9 Man). The Panthers beat Waubay/Summit 26-20 earlier in the week.

Great Plains Lutheran and the Dragons played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Great Plains Lutheran eventually emerging with a 26-20 victory. Phil Bunkowske threw for 85 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 117 yards in the win.

Wilmot's dynamic duo of Austin Hulscher and Landon Hammer proved tough for Tiospa Zina to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Hulscher threw for 220 yards and three touchdowns and Hammer had 133 yards receiving. Trevor Reil helped Wilmot's passing attack out by catching three balls for 48 yards.

Brody Grantham made the biggest impact on defense this week as Hamlin topped Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah]. The 6-foot-1 sophomore forced one fumble and recorded two fumbles.

Brandon Ness provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Waubay/Summit lost to Jeff Roloff's team. He completed six passes for 75 yards and one touchdown and also ran for 157 yards. Ness' favorite target this week was Shay Swanson, who caught two passes for 37 yards.

Wilmot's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Wolves feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Hulscher has thrown for 1529 yards and 19 touchdowns this season, while Hammer has 42 catches for 888 yards. Chase Bronson leads the league in rushing with 853 yards.

A big matchup in Eastern Coteau (9 Man) this week will be when the Panthers take on Clark/Willow Lake. Great Plains Lutheran is currently in fifth, while the Cyclones are in second.

Waverly/South Shore took down Florence/Henry 64-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.
