Volleyball Game Preview: Amador Valley Dons vs. Northgate Broncos

Amador Valley hasn't had much luck against Northgate recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Dons will head out to challenge the Broncos at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Amador Valley sitting on five straight wins and Northgate on nine.

Amador Valley is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They blew past Las Lomas 3-0.

Amador Valley not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Las Lomas between 17 and 19 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-17, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Northgate made easy work of De La Salle on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Northgate was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-20, 25-17.

Amador Valley pushed their record up to 26-10 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Northgate, their victory bumped their record up to 39-3.
