Miami Central (Miami, Fla.) was already loaded heading into the 2023 high school football season but the roster just got even better with the addition of three of the top recruits from Southern California. T.A. Cunningham, T.K. Cunningham and Bekkem Kritza are making the 2,200-plus mile move to South Florida as first reported by Frank Tucker of Rivals.

T.A. Cunningham is one of the top defensive line prospects in the Class of 2024. He had to sit out a handful of games last year after transferring to Los Alamitos (Calif.). The 6-foot-6, 265-pounder had a standout sophomore season at Johns Creek (Ga.) before making the move to SoCal, racking up 66 tackles, 22 tackles for loss and seven sacks.

Younger brother T.K. has already landed 19 offers despite not playing a down of varsity football. The promising Class of 2027 prospect has already received offers from LSU, Miami, Michigan, Penn State and USC. The 6-foot-5, 225-pound edge rusher was a standout performer earlier this month at the Under Armour Next Camp.

Kritza backed up Jaxon Potter at Santa Margarita (Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.) last season and threw for 267 yards and three touchdowns. The four-star recruit is regarded as a top 10 quarterback prospect in the Class of 2025 and has received offers from Colorado, Miami and Texas A&M among others.

The trio joins a team that is coming off a 14-0 season, fourth consecutive state title and No. 2 ranking in the final MaxPreps Top 25. Ezekiel Marcelin, LaWayne McCoy, Teko Shoats, Amari Wallace headline the returners.

Central also added some other big-time transfers led by former Dillard (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) standout Armondo Blount, the No. 5 prospect in the Class of 2025. He has 37 career sacks heading into his junior year.
