Softball Game Preview: Satellite Scorpio vs. Jensen Beach Falcons

The Satellite Scorpio will head out to square off against the Jensen Beach Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Satellite will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.

Satellite's tournament run continued when they took on Plant back in March. The Scorpio took a 14-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers.

Sara Sousa led a balanced group of hitters, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Victoria Olson was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Jensen Beach had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Greyhounds as they made off with an 18-3 victory. The Falcons not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since February 20th (when they won 18-0).

Jensen Beach's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Satellite, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
