Basketball Game Preview: Pine View Panthers vs. Timpanogos Timberwolves

Two dominant guards in Jelani Odjegba and Jaxen McCuistion are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Pine View Panthers will square off against the Timpanogos Timberwolves at 12:50 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Pine View comes in on four and Timpanogos on five.

Pine View is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They walked away with a 73-65 win over Green Canyon.

Meanwhile, Timpanogos earned a 56-43 victory over Juan Diego Catholic on Friday.

Timpanogos' win bumped their record up to 12-13. As for Pine View, their victory bumped their record up to 18-6.

Pine View barely slipped by Timpanogos when the teams last played back in December of 2025, winning 58-57. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was McCuistion, who shot 50% from the field on his way to 33 points and seven boards.
