The Sterling Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the Brenham Cubs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

They had to suffer through a 47-6 loss at the hands of Texas City. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 801st, while the Stingarees are ranked 103rd).
Meanwhile, Brenham had to endure a three-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They snuck past Huntsville with a 39-35 victory on Friday.
Brenham relied on the efforts of Xyran Upshaw, who gained 110 total yards and two touchdowns, and Cartelle Brown, who picked up 71 receiving yards and a touchdown.
