Tri-Valley (9 Man) recap Oct. 9, 2012

Viborg/Hurley took down Centerville 52-18 last week, the largest margin of any game.

The Vikings led Tri-Valley (9 Man) in scoring this week after putting up 52 points on the Tornadoes.

Dustin Livingston and Dustin Livingston gave Irene/Wakonda a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. Livingston threw for 86 yards and one touchdown, while Livingston ran for 91 yards. Garrett Anderson also contributed to the rushing game with 67 yards on the ground.

Josiah Aberson was the best wideout in the league this week as Baltic fell to Gayville-Volin. Aberson racked up nine receptions for 140 yards. Nick Weber helped Baltic's passing attack out by catching five balls for 82 yards.

The Bulldogs' Kyler Johnson and Aberson have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Johnson has thrown for 746 yards this season, while Aberson, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 32 catches for 486 yards. Livingston from the Eagles leads the league in rushing with 751 yards.

A big matchup in Tri-Valley (9 Man) this week will be when Alcester-Hudson takes on Parker. As it stands, the Cubs are in fifth, while the Pheasants are in third.

Parker made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 255 from 335. The improvement came about via a 42-24 victory over Irene/Wakonda last week.
