Volleyball Game Preview: Tuscola Mountaineers vs. Pisgah Bears

Tuscola hasn't had much luck against Pisgah recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Mountaineers will face off against the Bears at 6:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Tuscola lost 3-0 to Franklin on Thursday.

Tuscola took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-11, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Pisgah came up short against Cherokee on Monday, falling 3-0. The Bears have struggled against the Braves recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Pisgah's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Tuscola, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-17.

Tuscola might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Pisgah in their previous matchup on September 4th. Can the Mountaineers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
