They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 52-48 heartbreaker at the hands of the Southern Bulldogs. The game marked the Wildecats' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Wilde Lake's loss dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Southern, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.
