Soccer Recap: Bayonne Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Bayonne was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They fell just short of the Long Branch Green Wave by a score of 1-0. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Bayonne couldn't quite close it out.

Bayonne has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11-2 record this season. As for Long Branch, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-4-1.

Looking ahead, Bayonne will challenge Dickinson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Long Branch, they will welcome Voorhees at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
