Canyon Hills has gone 8-1 against Lincoln recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Rattlers will look to defend their home field against the Hornets at 4:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

Last Monday, Canyon Hills was able to grind out a solid victory over Southwest SD, taking the game 10-7. That's two games straight that the Rattlers have won by exactly three runs.

The team relied heavily on Josue Flores, who scored two runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-3. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brady Lang, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Lincoln, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Southwest SD a 15-0 shutout on Thursday.

Lincoln pushed their record up to 8-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Canyon Hills, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-8-2.

Canyon Hills took their victory against Lincoln in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 19-8 score. Will the Rattlers repeat their success, or do the Hornets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
