Waterloo had to settle for second on Thursday, but Aric May sure wasn't going down easily. May was dialed in as he pitched seven innings while giving up four earned runs off eight hits. He was up against McDonald and has quite the history against that squad, as he also had a great game the last time he faced them back in April of 2024. May has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
