Basketball Recap: FAU High Comes Up Short on the Road Against Lake Worth Christian + How To Watch

FAU High kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They were outmatched by the Lake Worth Christian Defenders and fell 68-30. The Owls were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-19.

Despite the defeat, FAU High saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Tristan Etienne almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine boards. Antonio Mitkov was another key player, putting up six points.

Lake Worth Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Michael Davis, who went 5-for-10 on his way to 11 points in addition to four steals and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeshua Collado, who shot 42% from the field to rack up 14 points and six rebounds.

FAU High didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 68-57 win against Greenacres Christian on the 18th. As for Lake Worth Christian, they have also already played their next matchup, a 74-48 loss against Cardinal Newman on the 20th.
