Volleyball Recap: Fulton Gets the Win

The Fulton Red Raiders were able to grind out a solid victory over the Phoenix Firebirds on Monday, taking the game 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red Raiders.

Fulton had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 25-27, 25-15, 25-20, 25-23.

Fulton found their leader in sophomore Bailey Frost, who had 27 kills and three aces. Frost is crushing it when it comes to kills: she's had at least 11 every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Mylah Dempsey, who had nine digs and two aces.

Fulton now has a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Fulton will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Oswego at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Phoenix does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
