Preview: St. Thomas Aquinas vs. Trinity
Trinity will be playing at home against St. Thomas Aquinas on Wednesday. Averaging 37 points per matchup, the Trinity squad has been an offensive juggernaut in the playoffs, so hopefully St. Thomas Aquinas' defense is prepared for a test.
Last week, Trinity faced Lebanon in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Pioneers took their contest against Lebanon 28-21.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: St. Thomas Aquinas lost to Hollis-Brookline four weeks ago, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 56-14.
Trinity's victory lifted them to 11-1 while St. Thomas Aquinas' loss dropped them down to 4-4. We'll find out if Trinity can add another positive mark to their record or if St. Thomas Aquinas can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Trinity's step.
