Basketball Recap: Cashion Takes a Loss

Cashion suffered their biggest loss since February 12th on Friday. They took a blow against the Dale Pirates, falling 91-62. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now lost six in a row.

Cashion's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Dale, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Cashion will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kremlin-Hillsdale at 4:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Cashion knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Kremlin-Hillsdale likes a good challenge. Dale and Weatherford will round out the year against one another at at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
