Baseball Recap: Shawnee Comes Up Short

Shawnee was the 5-0 winner over Camden Catholic when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Renegades took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fighting Irish on Wednesday.

Kayden Maybury was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That home run was his first of the season. Cole Anderson was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

Shawnee dropped their record down to 4-3 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Camden Catholic, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shawnee will face off against Burlington Township at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Camden Catholic, they will challenge Seneca at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
