Baseball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

Franklin is still winless after their game against McNary on Wednesday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Celtics. If the Quakers were looking for revenge after losing 13-3 to the Celtics when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for McNary, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklin will host Oregon City at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for McNary, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Clackamas at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
