Soccer Recap: Shelby Find Success

Shelby kept a clean sheet against Ashbrook on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Greenwave, sneaking past 1-0. Shelby's winning goal came courtesy of Jeffrey Walsh.

Shelby's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2-1. As for Ashbrook, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3-1.

Shelby didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Kings Mountain on the 25th. As for Ashbrook, they will challenge North Mecklenburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
